Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare Position Statement: Raise the Age of Criminal Responsibility

A position statement from Victoria’s peak body for Child and Family Services in regards to the Age of Criminal Responsibility in Victoria.

The Centre calls on the Victorian Government to raise the age of criminal responsibility to at least 14 years of age, and asks that the Victorian Government take a leading role in advocating for this change Australia-wide through their input into the Council of Attorneys-General review process.
