Safe & Supported National Framework

Safe and Supported: the National Framework for Protecting Australia’s Children 2021–2031

The Safe and Supported National Framework was developed by the Australian Government, state and territory governments, with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representatives and the non-government sector.

It’s aim is to reduce child abuse and neglect and its intergenerational impacts. It builds on the National Framework for Protecting Australia’s Children 2009–2020, which laid the critical foundation for national collaboration on protecting Australia’s children.
