The CEO's of Allies for Children stand firmly with SNAICC - National Voice for our Children and Catherine Liddle in rejecting calls for a Royal Commission into the abuse of Aboriginal children. This is not based in the evidence or the recommendation from the Nations Peak for First Nations children. We know and understand the evidence of the Child Maltreatment study. We need to move with fact, not fiction. We reject it and call for a dedicated National Commissioner with independence to support First Nations children to thrive in culture.
